The District offers other programs for businesses and the community to help achieve cleaner air for all. The Marine Shipping partnership program provides incentive funding to shipping companies to slow down their vessels to reduce emissions and protect whales. The Community Air Protection program employs strategies to improve community health by reducing exposure to air pollutants in highly affected areas.
